Penembakan yang dilakukan oleh Kelompok Kriminal Separatis Bersenjata (KKSB) atau sering disebut sebagai Organisasi Papua Merdeka (OPM) terhadap prajurit TNI nampaknya sudah tidak bisa ditolelir lagi. Penembakan yang terjadi di Tingginambut, Kabupaten Puncak Jaya, Papua hari Minggu, 19 Agustus 2018 silam telah membuat dua anggota TNI meregang nyawa di tempat kejadian.

Peristiwa mengenaskan ini berawal saat Letda Inf Amran Blegur dan Pratu Fredi menuju wilayah Tingginambut dengan maksud mengantarkan makanan untuk anak-anak yang ada di wilayah tersebut sebagai bakti sosial terhadap masyarakat setempat. Namun naas, di tengah perjalanan dua anggota TNI yang malang ini tiba-tiba disergap dan diserang secara sporadis oleh OPM. Serangan ini mengakibatkan keduanya mengalami luka tembak dan luka tusukan sehingga akhirnya tewas mengenaskan.
Mendengar prajuritnya tewas diserang OPM, Panglima Kodam XVII/Cenderawasih, Mayjen TNI George E Supit langsung bertindak dengan menginstruksikan jajaran Kodam XVII/Cenderawasih untuk segera mengejar dan menumpas OPM yang tentu saja setelah melakukan penyerangan, akan langsung kembali bersembunyi di belantara hutan pedalaman Papua.

Namun pengejaran pada kelompok ini bukanlah hal yang mudah mengingat medan dan kondisi alam Papua yang sangat 'menantang'. Selain itu, lawan yang dihadapi oleh TNI adalah penduduk lokal yang faham betul medan dan seluk beluk hutan yang ada di wilayahnya. Untuk menaklukkan musuh seperti ini, TNI akan kesulitan jika terus menerus mengandalkan pasukan-pasukan kecil saja dan menurut admin TNI harus mampu 'memanfaatkan' warga Papua.
Seperti yang kita ketahui bahwa dukungan warga Papua terhadap gerakan separatis ini sangatlah lemah dan dapat dilihat dari meriahnya perayaan HUT RI ke-73 di Papua beberrapa saat yang lalu. Dengan lemahnya dukungan dari masyarakat, OPM tentu saja akan kesulitan mencari simpatisan baru yang dapat rekrut untuk menjadi anggota baru kelompok mereka.

Nah celah inilah yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh TNI untuk mengirimkan 'agen' dari masyarakat lokal yang setia kepada NKRI. Agen ini bertugas untuk mengumpulkan informasi sebanyak mungkin tentang peta kekuatan OPM, siapa-siapa saja anggotanya, jalur logistik, tempat persembunyian dan jalur pelarian kelompok ini setelah melakukan serangan.

Memutuskan jalur logistik untuk melemahkan kelompok separatis ini yang kemudian dapat dilanjutkan dengan penyergapan dadakan di lokasi persembunyian OPM. Menurut admin, untuk masalah perang terbuka dari jarak dekat, TNI unggul jauh, mengingat kemampuan pasukan elite yang dimiliki oleh TNI sudah sangat piawai dalam situasi seperti ini.

Admin sebagai rakyat Indonesia sangat mengapresiasi sekaligus mendukung agar setiap aksi yang dilakukan oleh prajurit TNI mampu menumpas tuntas OPM sampai ke akar-akarnya, kamu setuju?
